BEWITAL petfood GmbH & Co. KG announces a precautionary recall of its product:

“BELCANDO BEEF WITH POTATOES AND PEAS“, 400 g.

• Best before date: 11.05.2026
• Article number: 512145
• Batch number: 22131

Reason: possible foreign matter (black particles from magnets) which could cause injury to the dog. Other batches of this product can be fed without hesitation and are explicitly not affected by this product recall.

Small black particles of a magnet have been found in a few cans, which was possibly contained in a batch from our meat supplier. This unusual finding was unfortuna- tely not detected by our safety detectors. During the further production process, the magnet was crushed. Unfortunately, it cannot be ruled out that individual small pieces of it may be contained in isolated cans.

The health of pets is the most important priority for us. BEWITAL petfood GmbH & Co. KG is therefore recalling the affected batch from the market. We have already informed the responsible authorities.

Please do not feed the product in question to your dog.

Customers who have bought this product with the above mentioned best before date can return it to their shops for a refund of the purchase price without presenting the receipt.
